CANCELLATION & REFUNDS POLICY – KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, FELLOW GAMER

At [INDIAS'S ESPORTS TOURNAMENT], we understand that sometimes plans change, servers crash, and players miss the drop. While we aim to offer the best tournament experience possible, we also believe in being transparent and fair about cancellations and refunds.
This Cancellation & Refunds Policy explains when you can expect a refund, under what conditions cancellations happen, and how we handle exceptions.
🚫 1. CANCELLATION BY USER (PLAYER/TEAM)
Once you register and complete your payment for a tournament, your slot is locked in. That means:
No refunds will be issued if:
You or your team cancel voluntarily.
Your squad fails to join the lobby at the scheduled time.
You enter wrong details (e.g., game ID, team name, state selection).
You are disqualified due to rule violations (cheating, toxicity, etc.).
Your device, internet, or game crashes during the match (we do not control tech issues on the player's side).
Please double-check your details and timing before confirming your registration.
✅ 2. CANCELLATION BY ADMIN / HOST
We may cancel or postpone a tournament due to technical issues, server maintenance, insufficient team registrations, or unavoidable emergencies.
In such cases, you’re eligible for a full refund if:
The tournament is cancelled before it begins.
You have submitted a valid payment with proof (screenshot or UPI/Transaction ID).
We will notify players via email, WhatsApp, or announcements on our Discord/Telegram group.
💸 3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Refunds will be issued only under the following conditions:
Tournament cancellation by us (platform admin).
You paid but did not receive registration confirmation due to a technical glitch.
Double payment (accidental second payment for the same team).
📋 4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To apply for a refund, send an email to [Your Email Address] with the subject: “Refund Request – [Tournament Name]” and include:
Player Name / Team Name
Registered Mobile Number
Transaction ID / UPI Reference Number
Screenshot of Payment (if possible)
Reason for Refund
Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the tournament cancellation or payment error.
⏳ 5. REFUND TIMELINE
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Refunds will be sent back to the original payment method (PhonePe, UPI, Bank Transfer, etc.).
Delays may occur due to bank processing times or holidays.
🧾 6. NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS
Refunds will NOT be issued under these situations:
Voluntary player/team withdrawal after registration
Failure to join the match room/lobby
Disqualification due to rule-breaking
Game lag, crashes, or internet issues from the user’s side
Wrong registration information provided
Asking for refund after the tournament has already begun
🛡️ 7. PAYMENT VERIFICATION
For security reasons, we verify every refund request using the payment reference number and registration data. Fake claims or mismatched data will be rejected, and repeat attempts may result in blacklisting.

💬 9. ADMIN DECISION IS FINAL
In the event of a dispute or unclear eligibility, the tournament admin or platform support team will make the final call. We strive to be fair and transparent, but we also reserve the right to decline any request that violates our rules or policy.
